Most voice AI vendors share performance claims without data. We are sharing ours. This report covers every call ARCA has processed across Indian enterprise deployments. The numbers are real, pulled from production systems, not demo environments or synthetic tests. We are publishing this because the Indian voice AI market needs benchmarks, and nobody is providing them.

The dataset

ARCA has processed 172,657 call records across multiple Indian enterprise deployments. Counting every dial attempt including retries, the outbound dialer fired approximately 730,733 times. The platform also received 1,098 inbound calls and handled 436 web widget sessions. Of the total, 90,326 calls connected (a real conversation took place or the call ran for at least 10 seconds), representing a 52.3% connection rate. The remainder were busy, failed, unanswered, or used up all retry attempts. Total call time: 48,853 minutes, roughly 814 hours of AI conversation.

The autonomous handling finding

This is the number we did not expect to be this high. Out of 172,657 total call records, only 134 were escalated to a human agent. That is a 99.92% autonomous handling rate. We expected 90 to 95% based on industry benchmarks. The actual number suggests that for the specific workflows ARCA was deployed on (admissions qualification, lead follow ups, appointment scheduling, dealer support), the AI handles virtually everything. This does not mean every voice AI deployment will see 99.92%. It means that well scoped, well configured deployments on structured workflows can achieve near total automation. The key is scope: these deployments were on specific, defined workflows with clear conversation boundaries, not open ended customer service.

Call duration patterns

Average connected call duration: approximately 30 seconds. This reflects the nature of the deployments (outbound qualification and reminders, where most calls are brief exchanges). The longest single call ran 45 minutes, which indicates ARCA can handle extended conversations when needed. Average across all calls including non connects: approximately 17 seconds.

Lead qualification performance

ARCA generated 3,159 qualified leads across all deployments: 125 tagged as hot leads and 3,034 as warm leads. A further 504 reached bottom of funnel intent (explicit admission request or purchase intent expressed). The qualification rate varies significantly by deployment. Alliance University saw 2,142 qualified leads from 149,000+ calls. KL University saw 482 from 16,000+. Mount Roofing saw 442 from 6,600+. The Mount Roofing deployment is notable: a 6.6% lead qualification rate from outbound calls, significantly above the industry benchmark of 2 to 4% for cold outbound property qualification.

Language breakdown

English dominated: 171,854 calls used English as the primary language. Hindi was second at 7,096 calls, followed by Telugu (661), Tamil (637), Kannada (301), and Malayalam (132). This reflects the current deployment mix (primarily education and SMB clients where English is the default business language). As ARCA deployments expand into BFSI collections, government services, and healthcare in Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities, we expect regional language usage to increase significantly. The important data point is that ARCA handles all these languages in production, not in demo. These are real customer conversations, not synthetic tests.

Timing patterns

Peak calling hours were 11am to 5pm IST, with the highest volume at 1pm (17,233 calls), 2pm (16,989), and 3pm (16,481). This aligns with when Indian consumers and students are most available for calls. Peak days were midweek: Wednesday (34,859), Tuesday (30,588), Monday (27,456). Weekend calling was minimal, reflecting the enterprise deployment context.

Per deployment breakdown

Alliance University: 149,000+ calls, 35,514 minutes, 2,142 qualified leads, 40 confirmed enrolments, approximately Rs 10 crore in influenced revenue. The largest ARCA deployment and the most complete proof of voice AI ROI in Indian education. KL University: 16,200+ calls, 9,468 minutes, 482 qualified leads. Demonstrated Telugu language voice AI for Andhra Pradesh admissions. 99.99% autonomous handling rate (only 2 escalations). CUMI (Murugappa Group): Deployed for dealer support. Cut query resolution time by approximately 60% and tripled dealer reach. Mount Roofing: 6,600+ calls, 3,534 minutes, 442 qualified leads. 6.6% qualification rate from outbound calls, significantly exceeding industry benchmarks. Naturals Salon: Deployed for appointment booking and repeat customer engagement. Achieved approximately 90% client connectivity and 1.4 times repeat booking rate.

What this data means for Indian enterprises

Three takeaways: First, autonomous handling rates above 99% are achievable for well scoped workflows. This challenges the assumption that voice AI will always need significant human backup. On structured, defined workflows, AI handles nearly everything. Second, outbound lead qualification through voice AI outperforms industry benchmarks. The Mount Roofing result (6.6% vs 2 to 4% benchmark) suggests that consistent, immediate, multilingual AI follow up converts better than human calling at scale. Third, the real constraint is deployment scope, not technology. The deployments that performed best were narrowly scoped: one workflow, clear success criteria, defined escalation rules. Broad, vaguely scoped deployments perform worse regardless of platform.

Methodology note

All data is from production ARCA deployments. No demo or synthetic data is included. Call records were aggregated across all tenants. Qualified leads are defined as calls tagged HOT or WARM by ARCA's qualification logic. Revenue attribution (Rs 10 crore for Alliance University) is based on confirmed enrolments that originated from ARCA qualified leads. We will update this report quarterly as the dataset grows.
